Cloth was added on Saturday, June 20th, as of 0.0.20a. Cloth is a block meant to represent colors in the color spectrum, intended to aid in the creation of Pixel Art. Currently, there are thirteen colors, not including black, white, and gray.

Cloth can be crafted in Alpha mode into the lowest grade armor.

Cloth is not affected by gravity, and will not fall if blocks below them are removed. It does not allow light to pass though it. Cloth is flammable.
